Michael Nicholas Boran, Ballinagall, Ballickmoyler, Carlow, passed away unexpectedly, on April 10th, 2022, at his home.
Beloved husband of Grace, much loved father of Marie and Lorraine and loved father-in-law of Dave, adored grandfather of Emily-Rose and Cameron-Michael and cherished brother of Eileen, brother-in-law Alan, and nieces Emma and Laura.
He will be very much missed by his loving wife, daughters, grandchildren, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Patsy (Anastasia Patricia) Scott (Nee Campion), Knockfin, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Ballymullan House, Abbeyleix. April 11th, 2022, aged 89 years. In the loving care of the staff of Brookhaven Lodge, Ballyragget and in the presence of her heartbroken family in her final hours. Deeply regretted by her beloved and devoted son Francis, daughter-In-law Mary, grandchildren, Patricia Quinn (Kilcock), Tim (Knockfin), John-Paul (Ballymullan) and Helena (Abbeyleix), brother Jim Campion (London), sister Lilly Campion (Ballymullan and Brookhaven), adored great-grandchildren, Kate, Clodagh, Anna and Charlie, grandson-in-law, Kieran, granddaughters-in-law Marianne and Emma, Helena’s Fiance Barry, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home, Knockfin on Tuesday evening from 4pm with rosary at 8pm. House private on Wednesday morning, please. Funeral mass on Wednesday at 1pm in St. Canice’s Church, Clough followed by interment in Rathdowney local cemetery.
Gerard (Ger) Scully
Tullore, Ballyroan, Laois
Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his brothers Tom and P.J. sister Mary, sister- in – law Gearldine, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his sister Mary residence from 2pm. on Tuesday with removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan for 7.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. Wearing of facemasks and social distancing would be appreciated.

O’Rourke, Magherabawn, Feakle Co. Clare and formerly of Galway and Ratheniska, Co. Laois. Brian, Peacefully at home. Sadly missed by his wife Paula, daughters Anna, Rosa and Eva, brothers and sisters Lorcán, Fr. Caoimhín, Fran, Ger, Seán, Mary and Anne, sisters in law, brother in law, nieces, nephew, cousins, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Feakle, V94 VW44. on Tuesday, 12th April, from 5pm, with prayers at 7pm. Arriving at St Mary’s Church, Feakle, for mass at 12pm on Wednesday, 13th April. Funeral immediately afterwards at Feakle Cemetery.

Michael (Mick) Mulhall, (Retired Painter) Wolfe Tone Court, Mountmellick (formerly of St. Joseph’s Terrace, Mountmellick). Died 10th April 2022. Deeply regretted by his sister Martina (Tina) and her husband Tony, nephew William and his wife Sandra, grandniece Amy and her husband Michael.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 8 o’clock. Recital of the Rosary at 9 o’clock. Michael’s Funeral arrangements will be announced on Friday the 22nd of April.
Tony Gannon
Glasnevin, Dublin/Portlaoise, Laois
Gannon Tony (Late of Glasnevin, formerly of Portlaoise), passed peacefully on April 9th, 2022, in his 87th year in the loving care of his devoted family and the staff of St. Raphael’s Ward, Mater Hospital.
Beloved and cherished husband of Joan and wonderful loving father of Rosemary, Tony, Claire and the late Helen. Sadly missed by his family, brother Ignatius, sister Gertie, grandchildren Karl, Rachel, Alex, Jeff, David, Julie, Aoife and Ciara, sons-in-law Ed and Ronan, daughter-in-law Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends to whom he brought great joy and laughter.
Reposing at his daughter Claire’s home in Glasnevin on Monday evening, April 11th, from 6pm to 8pm which will involve limited numbers for limited time periods due to the on-going presence of Covid-19 in the community.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, April 12th, at 10.30am at Saint Columba’s Church, Iona Road, followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Funeral leaving his residence on Tuesday at 11.35am to The Church Of The Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Died peacefully on 8th April in her 92nd year in the excellent care of the Mater Hospital, Dublin after a short illness fought with great courage. Sadly missed by her sister Sarah Delaney (Millmount Place, Drumcondra). Predeceased by her brothers John (Cappard), James (Cappakeel), Michael (Brimingham), Pat (Tinnahinch), sisters Mary Flanagan (Tinnahinch), Kathleen, Sr Elizabeth and Bridget Sr Bridget, St Monicas, Gardiner St. Ester Ennis Rathfarnham, Elizabeth (child) (Tinnahinch). Deeply regretted by her sister Sarah, brothers-in-law. sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, and friends.

Removal at 11:20 to St Manmans Church Clonaslee for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial after in St.Brigids Cemetery Rosenallis arriving at 1:30.
