Dr. Pat O’Dwyer
Castletown Road, Mountrath, Laois
Dr. Pat O’Dwyer, formerly of Castletown Road, Mountrath, Co. Laois, died peacefully in his 101st year on the 8th of April 2022, in the tender care of the staff of Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Predeceased by his wife June and sadly missed by his children Paddy, Robert, John, Catherine, Gearóid and Turlough, daughters-in-law and partners, sister Bridie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Removal from Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath on Sunday morning at 10.45 a.m., to arrive at St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath at 11.15 a.m., for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m., followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Elizabeth Mortimer
Tinnahinch, Clonaslee, Laois / Drumcondra, Dublin
Died peacefully on 8th April in her 92nd year in the excellent care of the Mater Hospital, Dublin after a short illness fought with great courage. Sadly missed by her sister Sarah Delaney (Millmount Place, Drumcondra). Predeceased by her brothers John (Cappard), James (Cappakeel), Michael (Brimingham), Pat (Tinnahinch), sisters Mary Flanagan (Tinnahinch), Kathleen, Sr Elizabeth and Bridget Sr Bridget, St Monicas, Gardiner St. Ester Ennis Rathfarnham, Elizabeth (child) (Tinnahinch). Deeply regretted by her sister Sarah, brothers-in-law. sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, and friends.
Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home Mountmellick on Monday evening from 6pm. Recital of The Rosary at 7:30. Prayers in the Funeral Home at 11am on Tuesday morning. Removal at 11:20 to St Manmans Church Clonaslee for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial after in St.Brigids Cemetery Rosenallis arriving at 1:30.

Graiguenoe, Holycross, Tipperary / Thurles, Tipperary / Rathdowney, Laois
John Mulhall, Graiguenoe, Holycross, and formerly Rosmult, Drombane, Thurles and Rathdowney, Co Laois. Peacefully, after a short illness. In the wonderful care of the staff of Nenagh General Hospital and St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Will be sadly missed by his loving family, devoted wife Kathleen, adoring daughter Caitríona, grandson Cormac, son-in-law Brian (Cashin, Ballyfin, Co Laois), brothers Pat, Tom and Eamonn, sisters Sheila (Coonan) and Mary (Hyland), nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Hugh Ryan’s Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Friday 8th April, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at Holycross Abbey at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday 9th April at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass can be viewed at www.churchservices.tv/holycrossabbey.

Late of Artane, Dublin and Dungloe County Donegal. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Loving wife of the late James. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Rosemary, Maeve, Orlagh and Sheila, nieces Áine and Mary, sons-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Saturday morning from 11am with Removal to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Moyanna Cemetery, Vicarstown.

Peacefully at the Midlands Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary. Deeply regretted by her loving brothers Michael and Fr. John SMA, aunts, aunts in law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her residence from 3.00pm to 9.00pm on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Friday and on Monday morning please.
Michael Anthony (Tony) O’Gorman
Abbeyleix, Laois
London and Bath, England. Peacefully in England. Deeply regretted by his brother Liam, sister Carmel, sister-in-law Coralie, nephew Rory, nieces Sarah, Hannah, Ruth, Joanna and Mary, great-niece Ivy, great-nephew Sammy, and his many cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing in the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary Abbeyleix on Saturday evening from 6pm. with prayers at 6.45 pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 11 am. Interment afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery Abbeyleix.
