Gardai in Laois are appealing for anyone with information on a collision involving a motorcyclist to come forward.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon between 3pm and 3.30pm on the M7.
The collision occurred at Junction 16 and Gardai are looking for anyone who travalled on the road around that time to contact them.
They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have dashcam footage.
Gardai say: “Portlaoise Garda are investigating a collision involving a motorcyclist Tuesday afternoon which occurred at Junction 16 M7.
“They are appealing to any witnesses who travelled on the M7 between Junction 15 and 16 Northbound between 3pm and 3.30pm to contact Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 86 74100.
“They are particularly interested in speaking to anyone that may have dashcam footage.”
