St Patrick’s Day is a great way of properly signalling the end of winter and the start of spring.
And the weather stayed good for the most part today as communities all across the county turned out in large numbers for the first St Patrick’s Day parade in three years.
There was a great atmosphere in Graiguecullen this morning as the local community paraded.
Graiguecullen GAA, St Pat’s and St Fiacc’s soccer clubs, the Dargan school of dancers, Malone Health and Fitness and Dragon’s Lair Martial Arts were just some of the groups to take part.
There was also a nice touch with a group displaying a banner thanking our frontline workers for their efforts over the last two years.
Our photographer Paul Dargan was on hand where he captured a selection of great images.
