Electric Picnic 2022 went on sale today at 9am with tickets for this year’s event selling out in 30 minutes.
With the event cancelled in each of the past two years, those who had tickets bought for the 2020 concert were entitled to hold onto their tickets.
Some opted to take a refund but the remaining tickets went on sale this morning.
And there was no sign of any hesitancy following the removal of lockdown measures with the tickets going in double quick time.
Electric Picnic will return to Stradbally for the first time since 2019, and will see headliners such as Arctic Monkeys and Dermot Kennedy take to the main stage.
This year’s festival will also see some exciting new additions such as Fishtown and Mind and Body, and a fully programmed Theatre stage.
