Passed away, unexpectedly, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday 5th of February, at Nass General Hospital.
Predeceased by his son Joseph. Beloved husband to his devoted wife Mary and much loved father to Annette, Majella and Joseph. Sadly missed by his son-in-laws James and John, his adored grandchildren Gary, Darren, Amy and Megan, extended family, all his relatives and many friends.
Reposing in his home on Sunday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 6.00pm. Removal on Monday at 10.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick, arriving for 11am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Mass can be live streamed on https://www.mountmellickparish.ie/

Laois) – February 04, 2022 peacefully in the Mater Hospital, surrounded by her family ; she will be very sadly missed by her loving family, son Mark, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchildren Rebecca, Charlotte and Harry, brother Jim, sister Romi, sister-in-law Helen, nephews and nieces Gabriel, Rita, Eugene, Marie, Seamus, Treasa, Fearghal, Sinead, Gerard, Brian, Niall, Pat, Aidan, Donal, Sean, Anthony and Teresa, extended family, Pauline’s carers, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Massey Bros Funeral Home, Main Street, Finglas, on Monday, 7th February, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm. Removal to St Columba’s Church, Iona Road, on Tuesday, 8th February, arriving for Requiem Mass at 10.30am followed by burial in Glasnevin Cemetery. Clonad, Portlaoise, Laois
Michael (Mick) Doran, Clonad, Portlaoise. Died 4th February 2022, suddenly. Predeceased by his father Michael, mother Sheila, sister Maureen. Deeply regretted by his loving sons Michael and Conor, best friend Catherine, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6.30pm, with rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday to arrive at St Fintan’s Church, Raheen, for 12 noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

PJ Butler, Rathsaran, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. 2nd February 2022. Peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Predeceased by his parents John and Johanna. PJ will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen,his children John, Catriona, Pádraig, his grandchildren twins Séan and Conor, sisters Johanna and Brigid, his son-in-law Kenneth Lawson, his daughter-in-law Veronica, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney, on Saturday and Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm on both evenings with rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11 am followed by burial in the local cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, to Laois Hospice.

John passed away peacefully in the company of his loving family. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Teresa, daughter Claire, sons Ger, Brian and Sean. Adored grandfather to his seven grandchildren. Rita Fitzpatrick (92), our beloved mother, passed away peacefully in her home, at Esker, Mountmellick, on 2nd February, 2022. Predeceased by her husband Sean, brothers Tom, Sean and Pat, her sister Marie and her daughter in law Sheila, she is mourned by her sister Philomena, her children John, Mary, Frances, Grace, Noel and Josephine, her daughter in law Geraldine, her sons-in-law Robert, Liam, Willie and Patrick, her brother in law P.J., her sisters in law Bernie, Ettie and Sadie, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, wonderful neighbours and everyone in her care team.
Reposing in her home this evening from 6pm., Recital of the Rosary at 8.00pm. Reposing in her home on Thursday until removal at 7pm to arrive in St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin at 7:30pm. Rita’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 4th, at 11.00am followed by her burial in the new cemetery in Ballyfin. House private on Friday morning please. Family flowers only. Michael O’Rourke of Clogrennane, Carlow, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 2nd, 2022, at his home.
Beloved husband of the late Annie and much loved father of Valerie, Desmond, Brian, Collette, Siobhan, Micheal, Debbie, Michelle and Declan.
He will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
Reposing at his home (Eircode R93 N2Y3) all day on Friday with Prayers at 8pm that evening.
Removal from there on Saturday at 10.30am, to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am.
