Joan Kavanagh (née Stapleton)
Thornberry, Abbeyleix, Laois

Formerly Thomastown Co. Kilkenny. Died peacefully at home in the presence of her family. Predeceased by her husband Jerry and her daughter Marian.

Sadly mourned by her loving family, Tony, Carmen, Geraldine, Val and Sean, grandchildren, P.J., Zita, Eoghan, Sean, Orla and Liam, her great grandaughter Maeve, sons-in-law Henk and Patsy, daughter-in-law Chris, loving siblings Aggie and Jim, brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from her residence at 11.40 am on Monday to the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary for 12 noon Requiem Mass. The Mass can be viewed on https://abbeyleixparish.ie/webcam. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

House Strictly Private.

The death has occurred of Anne Fitzpatrick (nee Swan) Harpurs Lane Portlaoise, Co. Laois peacefully in the loving care of her family at her residence. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom and beloved parents Mary and Daniel.

Deeply regretted by her daughter Martina, Sons Billy, Tom, Des and Ken. Grandchildren Jack and Emma and great grandchild Cillian. Her deceased brother Daniel, sisters Josephine and Evelyn. Extended family and friends.

House private please. Anne’s family thank you for your understanding and support at this difficult time. Funeral arrives at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise on Monday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. May be viewed on https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/

Cremation will follow afterwards. Government Covid guidelines still to be observed. Those attending funeral are requested to wear masks and refrain from handshaking.

Malahide, Dublin/Clonaslee, Laois

Malone Tim (Malahide and late of Clonaslee, Co. Laois) – 27th, January 2022 – in the loving arms of his daughter Nicola, grandson Timmy and the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown, following 2 years of wonderful care at Nazareth House Nursing Home, Malahide Road; beloved husband of the late Maura, loving father of Nicola and the late Sharon and cherished grandad/dam-dam to Timmy, Harry and James. Sadly missed by his loving daughter, Nicola’s partner Orla, grandsons, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Tim will be reposing at the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Monday (January 31st) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Sylvester’s Church, Malahide on Tuesday (February 1st) arriving at 10.25am for 10.30am Requiem Mass followed by burial at Fingal Cemetery.

Formerly of St Brigid’s Square, Portarlington, County Laois. Unexpectedly, at his residence. Sadly missed by his loving children Claire and Adrian and their mother Mary, brothers, sisters, the extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington, on Saturday from 3.30pm with removal at 4.50pm, arriving at St Michael’s Church, Portarlington, at 5.30pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12.15pm. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Peacefully after a short illness bravely borne. Loving wife of PJ and adored mother of Monica, Catriona and PJ (Jnr). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband and family, her grandchildren Rachel, Jamie, Liam, Aaron, Jeremy, James, Michael, Jack and Patrick Joseph, her sisters Maureen, Nancy, Patrica and Eileen, her brothers Lazerian and Denis, daughter-in-law Elva, sons-in-law Joe and Mark, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law,sisters-in-law, family circle , friends and neighbours

Died peacefully at The Regional Hospital Tullamore. Retired Glanbia Employee. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Stella, neighbours, relatives and his many friends.

Reposing in his home on Saturday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8.30pm. Reposing on Sunday from 3pm Removal at 5.30pm to St.Joseph’s Church arriving for 6pm. Requiem Mass Monday at 11am. Burial after in St Joseph’s Cemetery.

Attracta Fallon, Derryguile, Mountmellick, Co. Laois and formerly of Main St., Clonaslee, Co. Laois.

Passed away unexpectedly at her residence on the 25th of January 2022.

Deeply regretted by her beloved children Vanessa, Martina and Patrick and their father Vincent.

Attracta will be dearly missed by her brother Michael, sisters Josie, Margaret, and Catherine, daughter-in-law Edel, sons-in-law Kevin and Dan, her much adored grandchildren Katie, Michael, Sadie, Rory, Cillian and Lachlan, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Curran, (née: Moore) Breda, Dublin & Stradbally, Co.Laois 22nd January 2022 peacefully in the care of the staff of St.Vincents Hospital, Elm Park. Breda pre-deceased by her daughter Mary who passed on 25th November 2011. Sadly missed by her loving son Martin, son-in-law Seamus, grandchildren Alison, Caroline and Lily extended family relatives and friends. Family flowers only please.

Norrie Roche (née Lodge) (Malachi Road, Dublin 7 and late of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois) passed away peacefully on 25th January 2022. Beloved wife of the late Jackie. She will be sadly missed by her loving sisters Ann, Betty and Jean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 from 2pm Friday until removal to The Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street, arriving at 5.30pm. Norrie’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at 10am which can be viewed live on the parish webcam (Click Here) with burial afterwards at St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton. Norrie’s funeral cortege will pass Malachi Road after Mass on the way to the cemetery.

In memory of Patrick Keenan who died at Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow. Patrick was much loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
