Back in November, hurling fanatic Buff Egan went to this years hurling county final and he treated his Snapchat followers to a blow by blow account of the game.
It was hurling county final day in O’Moore Park and the enigma that is Buff Egan was in attendance.
The eccentric Kerry man made the trip from Munster up to Portlaoise and was treated to an absolute cracker.
Clough-Ballacolla and Borris-Kilcotton engaged in a titanic tussle that resulted in the former claiming their second title in a row.
On Snapchat, Buff gave his hundreds of thousands of followers a blow by blow account of the game.
And at full time, Buff headed down to the pitch where he celebrated with the victorious Clough-Ballacolla players.
He declared Willie Hyland ‘a stallion of a man’, sentenced Borris-Kilcotton to ‘deletion’ and declared Cathal Dunne as ‘iconic’.
Buff’s evening briefly took a bad turn when he somehow managed to get himself locked into the toilets in O’Moore Park!
But he managed to break free and make his way to Ballacolla to join in on the celebrations.
They were all in Caoch O’Leary’s – recently purchased by winning captain Stephen Maher – where everyone was quite rightly in great form.
Buff even managed to track down the man who freed him from the O’Moore Park toilets!
