Formerly of Park, Stradbally, Co Laois.
Mary (Maisie) Peacefully in her 96th year, in the loving care of the staff of Oghill Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Joe and predeceased by her brothers Mick, Tom and sister Annie.
Much loved and cherished mother of Anne, Brigid and Mary. Lovingly remembered by her adored grandchildren, Eoin, Cormac, Pádraig, Aoife, Gráinne, Orla and Aoibhe. Also mourned by her sons in law Dominic and Donal, sister in law, nieces and nephew, relatives and friends.
Requiem Mass on Monday 27th at 11am in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Monasterevin. Interment afterwards in St Evin’s Cemetery.

Edward Mulhall of Morette Emo, passed away peacefully in the early hours of the 25th December 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny.
Sadly missed by his brother Shay, sister-in-law Catherine,nieces & nephews, James, Rachel, Suzanne & Philip as well as great nieces and nephews.

Paddy died peacefully in the loving care of the staff at St. Brigid’s Shaen, surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Bee and family. The complete obituary notice and arrangements will be published later.

The death has occurred of John Joe Conroy. On 24th December 2021. Peacefully surrounded by is loving family. Predeceased by his daughters Margaret and Elizabeth . and son Kenneth. Beloved husband of Rose.
Dearly loved father to Séan, Michael, Kevin, Pascal, Donal and Joe. Cherished grandfather to his many Grandchildren and Great grandchildren. Brothers Martin and Micheal. Sisters Mary and Diana. Brothers in law, sisters in law.

The death has occurred of Rory Culliton, Glenlahan, Stradbally Rd, Portlaoise on the 23rd of December 2021. Rory passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his darling wife Mary, his son Ross and partner Marie, his daughter Jill and her partner Jimmy and his son Steven and his wife Zara.
Much loved by his sister Ann, his brother David and their families. Pre-deceased by his brother Paul. Sadly missed by his sisters in law, brothers in law and their families, his godchildren (Rozamond and Aoife) and his many friends. May he rest in peace

Rita Delaney-Pullan (née O’Shaughnessy)

Rita Delaney-Pullan (nèe O’Shaughnessy), Cill Beg Manor, Stradbally, Co Laois. Passed away peacefully, on the 24th of December 2021 at Tullamore Regional Hospital surrounded by her devoted husband, Stephen and sons, Damien, Morgan and Conor.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered, by her husband, sons and partners, daughter-in-law, her cherished grandchildren, sisters, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at her home from 6pm on Sunday (26th December). Due to H.S.E COVID-19 Restrictions, the house will be Strictly Private, for family members only. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally and Afterwards Rita will be laid to Rest in Oakvale Cemetery.

Joseph Stone
Dysartbeigh, Mountrath, Laois
Joseph Stone, Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire, England and formerly of Dysartbeigh, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Joseph was the son of the late Joe and Agnes Stone (nee Doyle). A young 90, he passed away peacefully, on November 23rd. 2021. Predeceased by his brothers Paddy, Tommy and Sean, Joseph will be greatly missed by his only sister, Mary Clark and remaining sister in law Martha Stone. His nieces and nephews will remember their uncle and grand uncle Joey for the special man that he was throughtout their lives.
His family and friends attended his final Mass at St. Edward’s RC Church Kettering with cremation afterwards on December 19th. 2021.
Michael Deevy
Cashel, Ballyroan, Laois
DEEVY, Michael, Cashel, Portlaoise, 23rd December 2021, in the loving care of Bernie Brennan and staff in Ballard Lodge Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Michael, son of the late Mary and Michael Deevy, Drumagh, Crettyard. Predeceased by his sisters, Mary, Rita and infant Bridget and brothers, Andy and Tom, he will be sadly missed by his wife Elsie, his children, Lena, Mary, Eddie, Bridget and John, sons in law and partner Dave O’Connor, Dave Wilson, Cormac Browne and daughter in law Áine Deevy. Survived by his brother Eddie and his sisters Lena and Patricia, grandchildren, Róisín, Méabh, Hugh, Ross, Dara, Jack, Madge and Tom, sisters in law, nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.
Michael will be remembered by ‘Laois Friends’ the advocacy association that he founded and remembered by his special friends with whom he had an affinity and an enduring bond.
Michael will repose at home in Cashel. His Funeral Mass will take place on 26th December at 2pm at St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan, and may be viewed onhttps://laoisfuneralslive.com/J2Ps4U followed by burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Abbeyleix.
John Hetherington

John Hetherington, Bourneville, Birmingham, England and formerly of Woodbrook Mountrath, Co. Laois. Son of the late Billy and Ruby Hetherington (nee Keegan).
John after a short illness, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on November 11th. 2021. Beloved husband of Kate. Predeceased by his brother Patrick, sisters Kate, Ruby, twin sister Noreen and nephew Paul Turner. John will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kate, her children, his sisters Eileen and Halvena, his brother Ronan, brothers in law, sister in law, cousins and friends.
A small number of family and close friends gathered at Redditch crematorium on December 7th to pray and say a fond farewell to a wonderful man.

Dinah Dunne (nee Keenan) Pattison Estate Mountmellick died unexpectedly at home on December 21st 2021. Deeply regretted by her husband Eddie, son Edward, daughter Edel, grandchildren Madison, Muireann, Alex and Max, sister Maura O Loughlin, St.Brigids Portlaois , nieces and nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.

Paddy Kehoe, Springhill, Carlow, Co Laois, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 22nd, 2021, at his home.
Beloved husband of Sinead and adored father of Danny and Jack.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives, good neighbours and friends, especially his bros and good friends in the biker community.
Removal from his home, Springhill, (Eircode R93 K5P1) on Sunday (St Stephen’s Day) at 12.30pm to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
