The HSE have announced details of two more days of booster walk-in Covid-19 vaccination clinics in Laois before Christmas.
One of these will take place on Thursday, December 23 and the second on Friday December 24 – Christmas Eve.
The centre in Laois will by on the St Fintan’s Hospital Campus in Portlaoise and will be from 9am to 12.30pm on Thursday and 9am to 12pm on Friday.
In order to be eligible, a person must be 40 or older and have received their second vaccine dose no earlier than 90 days ago.
They must also be Covid-19 free for at least six months and must come with photo ID for proof of identification.
Anyone who does not meet the above criteria will not be eligible to receive a booster dose.
On the same days, and at the same times, there will also be a booster clinic for healthcare workers aged over 30.
Again, the same criteria in terms of second dose date and identification is required.
There will be updates on the HSE’s Twitter account where people can follow to see how busy the various locations are this week.
