Portlaoise Comhaltas branch visited Doogue’s, Raheen to restart their music sessions on Sunday.
This took place as a prelude to regular classes at the new St Francis School, Borris Rd in the coming days.
The branch suspended regular activities during the pandemic which left a void in the life of it’s members.
Zoom sessions were welcome but never managed to create the buzz of a live event.
New members will be accepted as classes resume and guidelines make it safe for all.
Comhaltas branches throughout the county are getting back into action and the yearly programme of activities is being planned by all eight branches.
