After a very busy Monday and Tuesday, tonight was a quiet night of GAA action.
In the Division 3 hurling league relegation semi-final, Mountrath gave a walkover to Castletown. They will now play the losers of Ballypickas/Rathdowney-Errill in the relegation final.
In Division 4, Camross booked their place in the final following a comprehensive victory over The Harps.
Cillian Tiernan amassed 2-4 for himself while Laois U-20 star Dan Delaney tagged in with 1-3.
Camross will now play the winners of Balinakill/Rosenallis which will be decided tomorrow night.
While in the relegation semi-final in the same division, Kyle were narrow victors over Rathdowney-Errill in an absolute classic this evening.
The game went all the way to extra time where Kyle edged the thriller by a point to preserve their status for another year.
Rathdowney-Errill will now face Park-Ratheniska-Timahoe in the relegation final.
