Time waits for no man is an old saying that we all find ourselves nodding in agreement anytime it’s mentioned.
2006 is 15 years ago. It seems like a lifetime ago.
That summer as they have often done, the Laois County Council ran a series of summer camps around the county.
And on this particular week in July they were focused on the arts and creative side of things.
They had a creative writing camp for teenagers, art in Abbeyleix and Killeen and pottery in Portarlington.
In Portlaoise they had a dance workshop and kindermusic.
And from the evidence of Alf Harvey’s photographs, all looked like brilliant fun.
