Music Generation Laois’s Trad Summer School took place recently.
From Thursday to Saturday last week, the summer school occurred in the Laois Music Centre.
This was an in person event with reduced numbers to comply with Covid-19 regulations.
Those who took part were treated to a host of extremely talented tutors.
The concertina workshop was ran by Ernestine Healy and Micheal O’Raghallaigh while Tara Diamond and Tommy Fitzharris were in charge of the flute.
The uilleann pipes workshop was ran by Joseph Byrne and Nollaig MacCartaigh while Catriona McKay and Siobhan Buckley were in charge of the harp.
And Dale McKay gave the bodhran workshop.
