A busy day on the GAA front today as both Laois senior footballers and hurlers were in action.
Laois hurlers travelled to Antrim as they tried get some good form for their upcoming championship match against Wexford in two weeks time.
Laois lost by four points but accumulated twenty wides in game which cost them dearly.
The Laois footballers played their division two playoff match against Down in Nurey. They will now play in Division three next year as they lost by seven points.
Camross had a comprehensive win over Rathdowney-Errill and they will meet Portlaoise in the final as they overcame The Harps in a tight game.
The 2020 junior B hurling final will take place next weekend.
