The Laois ladies footballers provided the highlight of the weekend with their National League win over Kildare.
Given that the men’s footballers and hurlers as well as the camogie team were all beaten it was a timely boost for GAA in the county.
It hasn’t been a great couple of weeks for Laois since sporting action returned with the hurlers losing all three league games to date and the footballers two.
Alan Hartnett was at all three Laois games over the weekend and he joins us on today’s podcast to look back on the action.
