James (Jimmy) Burke, Granstown, Ballacolla, Co. Laois. April 13th 2021. Following a brief illness. Predeceased by his sister Ann. Sadly missed by his wife Alice and his family Noreen, Jim, Michael and John, son-in-law Elad, daughters-in-law Jane, Margaret and Akanksha, grandchildren Anna, Katy and James, his brothers John, Fr. Fintan (O.CARM) and Gerard, his sisters Maureen (McCraw) and Geraldine (Dunne), nephews, nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Due to the COVID-19 Directive the funeral will be directed in compliance with the current regulations. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Canice’s Church, Clough, followed by interment in Knockaroo Cemetery. Jim Ó Roduibh (Geraghty)
Coill Rua, Inverin, Galway / Ballygar, Galway / Portlaoise, Laois / Rush, Dublin
Geraghty, Jim, (Ballygar, Galway; Castlerea, Roscommon; Rush, Fingal; Port Laoise), 8th April 2021, unexpectedly but peacefully in Port Laoise. Deeply missed by his family, especially his wife Pearl, brother-in-law Willie, son Tonaí, daughter-in-law Lisa, grandson Tomaltach, daughter Mary and grand-daughters Darcy, Ellie and Reimi. Memories of a forever young-at-heart man will continue to be lovingly cherished by his relatives and friends, near and far, particularly in Galway, Fingal, Port Laoise and New York. We are all heartbroken that you didn’t succeed in realising your goal of returning to Gaillimh for your final chapter.
Wake to take place in Coill Rua, Indreabhán. Due to Covid-19 restrictions a Private Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 14th April at 1:00 p.m. in Séipéal an Chnoic, Indreabhán, followed by burial in Reilig Mhaoiris. Donations, if desired, to Cairde Mhuire, Knock Shrine at www.knockshrine.ie.

Michael (Mick) Mockler
Kilcoran, Rathdowney, Laois
Michael (Mick) Mockler, Kilcoran, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. April 12th 2021. Peacefully at home in the presence of his family. Sadly missed by his daughters Maureen, Janet, Helen,and his son Michael, grandchildren Lauren, Ashleigh, Georgia, Breeze, Tommy, Harvey, Faye, Jack, Charlotte, Matthew and James, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
Funeral Mass on Friday at 11 o’clock in the Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney followed by cremation. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on (parishwebsites.ie/rathdowney).
Cathal Clooney

Peacefully at Crumlin Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by his grandparents Eilish and Joe and his uncle Fintan (Dooley). Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents William and Anne-Marie, his cherished brother Liam, grandparents Joe and Lil , grand-aunts, grand-uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Due to Covid -19 Directive a private Family Funeral will take place. Cathal’s Funeral will arrive for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Thursday in The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix via the Mountrath Road and will be live streamed on: https://abbeyleixparish.ie/webcam/
Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. People who wish to sympathise may line the route to the Church, in the Churchyard, or on route to the cemetery. Social distancing must be observed at all times.

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St Vincent’s Community Nursing Home, Mountmellick. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Elizabeth and sister Bridie. Deeply regretted by her loving relatives, neighbours and friends.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions A Private Family Funeral will take place. Removal on Wednesday (travelling via her residence) arriving St Mary’s Church, Clonaghadoo for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Beloved wife of Joseph. Deeply regretted by her sons & daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sister, brother in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives & friends.
Due to current government guidelines a private family funeral will take place. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12:00 noon in St Peter & Paul’s Church, Portlaoise, interment afterwards in Ratheniska Cemetery. Mass may be viewed on the parish website www.portlaoiseparish.ie
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so as the cortege travels to the church via Main Street.
