As always, this week’s LaoisToday Midweek Podcast, hosted by Paul Downey, is jam-packed with content and it begins with the story of a new author.
From a career break in Brazil, to a book deal in Ireland, O’Dempsey’s man and school teacher Michael Egan has had a busy few weeks.
Michael has wrote a series of children’s GAA books and they are now set for release in the coming months with publisher Gill Books.
Michael joins Paul to talk about school life, The GAA and how important it is for children and his new books.
Continuing with our musical guests, Laois lady Emer Dunne speaks to Paul as, like many artists, she continues to adapt to this new way of living throughout this pandemic.
Emer plans to release a new single and album in the coming months as well as continuing to teach and do what she loves doing, making music.
And is traditional by now, we will conclude with a musical piece.
Music this week is ‘Untold Story’ by Emer Dunne.
