Lar Cuddy, Northgrove, Camross, Co. Laois. Died 8th February 2021,(peacefully) surrounded by is loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Maureen, daughters Frankie, Mozzie, Laura, and Brigie, sons Pakie and Larry, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
In accordance with current government/HSE guidelines and in the interest of the Public Health and the safety of our most vulnerable, a private family funeral will take place for Lar, with Requiem Mass on Wednesday (10th February) at 11 o’clock, in St. Fergal’s Church, Camross (max of 10 people in church). Mass will be live steamed on the Camross Community Pastoral Council facebook page.
There will be an opportunity for the community to remember Lar, by being present and socially distancing on Wednesday morning on route from Northgrove to St. Fergal’s Camross Church, (via Cardtown).
Gerry Nash
200 Maher Road, Graiguecullen, Carlow/Castlecomer, Kilkenny
Gerry Nash of 200 Maher Road, Graiguecullen, Carlow and formerly Moneenroe, Co. Kilkenny, passed away peacefully, on February 7th, 2021, at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny .
Beloved husband of the late May, much loved father of Martina, Mary-Clare and John, adored grandfather of Méabh, Éabha and Saoirse and cherished brother of Helen and the late May.
He will be sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Bríd, sister, brothers-in-law John Brennan and Eamon Geoghegan, sister-in-law Marie Murray, aunt, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and good neighbours.
Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral will take place for family in St Clare’s Church, Graiguecullen, on Tuesday at 11am and will be followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Carlow.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his mother, Sadie and father Nicholas. Much loved brother of Stephanie (Maher), James, Phil (Murphy), Hugh, Vonie (Macken), David and Paul. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family relatives and friends.
Due to current government guidelines a private family funeral will take place on Tuesday, with requiem Mass in St Peter & Paul’s Church, Monasterevin at 11am and interment afterwards in St Brigid s cemetery, Nurney.

Micheál Patrick Behan
Leinster Lodge, Athy, Kildare
Micheál passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Needed, wanted and loved by all those close to him. We were so very blessed to have him. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Claire and brothers Patrick and James (Jim). Deeply mourned by his loving wife Vera, of fifty years, sons Gavin and Michael, daughters Sarah, Emily, Veralouise and Ruth, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, seventeen grandchildren, sisters Breada and Clare, extended family and many friends.
Micheál will be making his final journey from Leinster Lodge on Wednesday morning to arrive for Requiem Mass in St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for 11am, limited to ten people. The cortège will journey via Ballyroe and Wright’s Cross.
The Mass will be livestreamed, see www.parishofathy.ie. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s New Cemetery, Athy.

Peacefully at St. James’ Hospital Dublin, husband of the late Oonagh. Predeceased by his brother Trevor. Sadly missed by his loving children, Sandra, William, Yvonne, Suzanne, Lorraine and Laura, brother Mervyn, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Eileen Thompson, nee (Behan) Portlaoise Road, Portarlington, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family. Sadly, missed by her husband Brendan, sons Brian, David, Paul and Kevin, daughters-in-law Grainne and Aisling, son-in-law Ben, grandchildren Brendan, Cora and Alex. Predeceased by her sister Marian. Sadly missed by her brothers Pat and John, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Rory Buchanan
Farigreen, Portlaoise, Laois
Buchanan, Rory – February 5th 2020 – Portlaoise, and formerly of Clare/Limerick and Dublin (gone too soon). Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Rory, beloved husband of Mandie and dearly loved father to Kyle, Ashlee, Emili, Charlie and Ruairí Óg. He was the loving son of Rita and the recently deceased James. Deeply regretted by his loving family, much loved brother of Cathal, Niamh and Eoin. Rory will be sadly missed and forever loved by his family, his sisters-in-law Melissa, Kelly D, Kelly C, Sinead, Serenna, brother-in-laws Niall, Jon-jo, nephews and nieces Katelyn, Holly, Kyra, Lucy, Aoibhín, Sean, Sophie, Natalie, extended family and friends.

William Mervyn Harvey, Cromogue, Mountrath, Co. Laois. Died 5th February 2021, (peacefully), at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his brothers Joe, Arthur and Robert, sadly missed by his loving wife Betty, sister Louisa, brother-in-law Frank, sisters-in-law Betty and Lily, nieces, nephews, best friend Patsy, neighbours and friends.
A private Funeral Service on Sunday (7th February) at 2.0’clock in Roskelton Church, followed by Burial in he adjoining Churchyard. Neighbours and friends are welcome to stand along the route to the church and churchyard with Strict Social Distancing being observed.

Predeceased by his daughter Eilish, brother Jim and sister Joan; sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter Fiona, son Lorcan, brother Martin, sister Maura, daughter-in-law Jackie, son-in-law Martin, brother-in-law Nicky, grandchildren Anna, Maria, Orla, Tony and Aishling, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
