Unexpectedly, at his home. Dearly loved by his wife Marie, sons Liam, Brian, Cormac, Fergal and Noel jnr, daughters-in-law Mary, Geraldine, Natalia, Eileen and Siobhán, his grandchildren Eoghan, Ailbhe, Anna, Eimear, Aoife, Cian, Ted, Rua, Jim and Sophie. Also missed by his brother Thomas and sister Kathleen (King) New Ross.
Due to the Covid 19 restrictions, a Private Family Funeral will take place. Removal from Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington, on Monday at 11am, travelling via the Old Pound and his residence, arriving St Paul’s Church, Emo, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the New Cemetery, Emo. People are welcome to stand along the route to the church, in the churchyard and in the cemetery with social distancing being observed.
Tom Caldbeck
Clonbroc, Rathangan, Offaly/Mountrath, Laois/Rathangan, Kildare
Formerly of Ringstown, Mountrath, County Laois. Peacefully in his 96th year in the excellent loving care of Oghill Nursing Home, Monasterevin. Predeceased by his sister Peg and brothers Charlie, Rich, Rob and Frank. Deeply missed by his loyal neighbours and friends, niece Betty (Carter), and nephew Robert and families and cousins.

Removal from Maher’s Chapel of Rest, Portarlington, on Friday at 1.10pm, arriving Rathangan Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St Patrick’s Cemetery, Rathangan. People are welcome to stand along the route to the church, in the churchyard and in the cemetery.

Peacefully at St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Michael, brothers Michael, Ciaran, Joe and Thomas, uncle Liam, aunt Breda, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington. People are welcome to stand along the route, in the Churchyard and in the Cemetery with Social Distancing being observed.

William McEvoy, “Bill” (Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éirinn) late of Kilcoke, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois , passed away peacefully at his home in Lake Grove, Long Island, New York on Wednesday, November 25th, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Lily, daughter Marion, brother Seán (Durrow, Co.Laois), sister Julia Dowling (Dublin).
He is survived by his children Patrick, Kieran, Margaret, Billy, Lillian, Joseph, Colleen and Kathleen, 25 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; sisters Mollie Stapleton (Leeds, England), Bridie O’Kane (Baltinglass, Co. Wicklow), Margaret Duggan ( Portlaoise). Cousins, nieces, nephews and his many friends in Ireland, England, U.S.A. and Canada.
Reposing at Maloneys Funeral Home, Ronkonkoma, U.S.A on Tuesday, December 1st (5-9pm U.S.A.E.T). Funeral Mass on Wednesday , December 2nd at Assumption Church, Centereach, Long Island, followed by burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Port Jefferson at 1pm.
