Florence Burke
Bridge Cottage, Abbeyleix, Laois
Peacefully in Epsom Hospital, England aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late William (Bill) Burke Abbeylex. Deeply regretted by her loving children Don, Kathleen, Michael, Brenda, Seamus, Irene, Eamonn, John and Pam, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, eighteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends. Florence can now be reunited with her husband Bill in Abbeyleix.
Rest In Peace
Due to current restrictions a private family Funeral will take place in The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Saturday, 21st November, with Requiem Mass at 11 am.and can viewed https://abbeyleixparish.ie/webcam/. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sympathisers are welcome to gather outside the Church or in the Cemetery while observing social distancing.
Patrick (Paddy) Corcoran
Gortnaclea House, Laois / Tipperary
Formerly of Aughnagomaun, Horse and Jockey, Co. Tipperary. He died peacefully at the Midlands Hospital Portlaoise, husband of the late Maria (Moira). Predeceased by his daughter Frances. Deeply regretted by his loving daughters Susan and Marie, son Pat, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to current Government guidelines a private Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday at 12.00 noon in St. Canice’s Church Clough, followed by burial in Aghaboe cemetery.
Nancy Boran (née Delany)

Boran (nee Delany) Nancy, The Downs, Portlaoise and late of Main Street, Portlaoise. November 18th 2020, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of the staff of Droimnin Nursing Home Stradbally, in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas. Dearly loved mother to Margaret, Peter, Mary, Pat and Michael. Deeply regretted by her loving family, son in law Pat, daughters in law Raffaela and Anita, brother in law Fr Anthony Boran, grandchildren Kirk and April, David, Kate, Sarah, Aoife, Lee and Luca, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Mona Curry (née Gleeson)

Mona Curry (neé Gleeson), formally of Camross, Co.Laois. Died on 13th November 2020, in Huntsville Alabama, USA.
Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Margaret, sister Eileen, brothers Matt and Dinny.
Mona will be sadly missed and always loved by her husband Gordon, and her daughter Amy, brothers P.J. and Gerry, sisters Kit, Madge and Sheila, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

O’CONNELL (Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin and formerly of Rathdowney, Co. Laois) – November 14th 2020 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Anthony (Tony); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Ellen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, brothers Bobby and Billy, sister Monica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.
