O’CONNELL (Sallynoggin, Co. Dublin and formerly of Rathdowney, Co. Laois) – November 14th 2020 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Anthony (Tony); dearly beloved husband and best friend of Ellen. Sadly missed by his loving wife, brothers Bobby and Billy, sister Monica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place on Friday (Nov 20th) at 10am at Our Lady of Victories Church, Sallynoggin followed by interment at Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. Fennelly, Patrick, Birchwood House, Tullamore and late of St Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise, 15th November, 2020. Peacefully, at Tullamore Regional Hospital. Son of the late Mick and Molly Fennelly. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Mary, brother in law Eugene Fleury, nephews, Sean and Ronan, cousins, staff and residents of Birchwood House, Tullamore.

Given the current exceptional circumstances and to protect the welfare of everyone who knew him, a private funeral, with immediate family only, will take place at 12 noon on Tuesday in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise and will be streamed on the webcam http://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/web-cam/. Burial will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise

Teresa Kelly (nee Maher), Village View, Errill, Co. Laois, November 15th 2020. Peacefully, in the presence of her family. Predeceased by her husband Patsy, her daughter Teresa and her sons Eddie and Pat. Sadly mourned by her loving family, Mary, Josephine, Seamus, Deirdre and Raymond, son-in-law Adrien, grandchildren, Damien, Emma, Dylan, Saoirse and Daragh, her sisters Grett and Sally, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Due to the COVID-19 directive, a private funeral has been arranged. House private.

Liam passed away peacefully in the company of his loving family. Predeceased by his brother Mark. Sadly missed by his sisters Nuala, Margaret and Francais, brothers Seamus and Patrick. Sisters Inlaw, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends. May Liam Rest In Peace. Liam will be Reposing at his residence on Monday. Recital of the Rosary on Monday evening at 8 o clock. Sympathisers can gather outside the house observing social distancing during Rosary. On Tuesday morning sympathisers can gather around the village green for the removal as the cortège will travel around the village green on the way to Saint Michaels Church for 2 o clock Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in Saint Michaels cemetery. House private at all times please. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society. Donation box at back door of church. The Ramsbottom family would like to thank you for your co-operation, understanding and support during this sensitive and difficult time.

McEvoy, Jackie, Park Upper, Stradbally, November 14th 2020, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. In the tender care of the staff of St Vincent’s Hospital, Mountmellick. Beloved husband of the late Mollie. Dearly loved father to Pat, Geraldine, Angela, Alice, John, Noel, Kathleen, Gerard, Henry and Noeleen. Predeceased by his brother Paddy. Deeply regretted by his loving family, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Odlum – Loftus, November 12th, 2020. Late of Portarlington, Co Laois. In the loving care of the staff of St James Hospital and Orwell Nursing Home, in his 92nd year; loving husband of the late Dorothy, and sadly missed by his children Philip, Stephen and Melanie, daughters-in-law Kristina and Julie, son-in-law Karsten, grandchildren Nicholas, Emily (and their spouses, Sophie and Michael) Rachel and Rebekah, great-grandchildren Sam, Beau and Cara and extended family.
