Who doesn’t like a nice pizza? And it’s all the better if you can make it a healthy option yourself.
This is a delicious, easy-to-make pizza, with a yeast-free dough.
Get the kids involved and let them make their very own pizza – maybe even have a pizza party!
Make the sauce first so it is cooled before putting on the pizza.

Pizza Base
Ingredients
- 160g/6oz of plain flour (can be gluten free)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Half a teaspoon of salt
- 125ml of low fat milk
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
Equipment Needed
- 1 large bowl
- Weighing scales
- Wooden spoon
- 1 rolling pin
- 1 glass jug
- Parchment paper
Step by Step guide
- Mix together the flour, baking powder and salt
- Add in the olive oil and a teaspoon of oregano
- Now add the milk
- (I also add a teaspoon of oregano and one clove of crushed garlic but you can leave it plain too)
- Mix well with a spoon
- Put the dough on a floured table
- Knead 10 times and then let sit for 15 minutes
- Roll out thinly – don’t worry if it looks too thin as this dough rises really well
- Put the dough on some parchment paper on a tray
- Bake pizza base at 200 degrees for 8-10 minutes
- Get all your toppings ready now
- When the base is lightly cooked, add your sauce and grated cheese of your choice (plus I used chicken, scallions and peppers)
- Bake for 15-20 minutes
- Serve with home-made wedges/chips and salad
