The patient at Portlaoise Hospital who was diagnosed with Covid-19 a week ago, remains in ICU.
The patient has now spent seven consecutive days in Portlaoise Hospital’s ICU battling the virus.
That patient remains the only confirmed cases of the virus being treated in the hospital.
However, there are two patients in the hospital who are being treated as suspected cases.
One of these is being treated in a Critical Care Unit.
These are the latest figures pertaining to the hospital as of 8pm last night.
The Covid-19 Daily Operations Update shows that there are 15 vacant general beds in Portlaoise but no available critical care beds.
It also shows that nationally there are now 12 people in hospital being treated for Coronavirus.
Four are in the Mater, three in Tallaght, two in Beaumont while Drogheda, Sligo and Portlaoise have one each.
