Philip (Phil) Mockler, Johnstown Road, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. July 13th 2020. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Abbeyleix District Hospital. Predeceased by his son Stephen and daughter Susan. Sadly missed by his wife Gwen and his family Frances, Julie, Philip and Tracey, sons-in-law Jeremy and Fred, daughters-in-law Tracey and Bernie, grandchildren, Tommy, Charley, John, Lewis, Henry, Haley, John-Jo, Lucas, Jade, Joe and Paige, Great-grandchildren, Freddy, Ellie, Sadie, Charley, Tilly, Carter, Ivy, Poppy, Harper, Tommy, Ralph, Harry, Noah, Gracie, Florence and Dominic, his sisters Eileen and Tess, brothers Mick and Jim, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
A private family funeral will take place on Friday, July 24th, at 11am in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. (parishwebsites.ie/rathdowney) followed by burial in Rathdowney Local Cemetery. Please note as per the COVID-19 directive that only fifty people can enter the Church. Social distancing and public health advice must be adheared to.
Nicholas (Nicky) Brennan
Shanganabeg, Barrowhouse, Athy, Kildare, R14 D540/Laois
Peacefully, at the Mater Private Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne. Sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, son James, daughters Deirdre, Elaine and Nicola, brother Michael, sisters Eithne and Marie, son-in-law Jimmy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, granddaughters Ria and Pippa, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Removal from his residence at 1.30pm on Saturday afternoon to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Barrowhouse for private Requiem Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions may leave a personal message in the section marked ‘Condolences’ below.

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Loving daughter of the late Rody and dear partner of the late Kevin Maher. Sadly missed by her loving daughters Siobhan, Louise and Shelly and their father Pat, mother Maureen, brothers Roger, Michael and Adrian, sisters Louise, Caroline, Angela, Orla and Josie, grandchildren Kathlyn, Zoe, Aoibhe, Brook, Seán, Harley and Patrick, son-in-law Danny, Shelly’s partner Tom, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Removal on Saturday arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.
Due to the Covid 19 Directive Social Distancing will be in place at her residence, in the Church and at the Cemetery.

He will be sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Mary, sons and daughters, Paul, Eoin, Aine, Olive, brothers and sisters, Denis, Carol, JJ, Desmond, Liam and Pearl, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, granchildren, relatives, neighbours and many dear friends, and his colleagues in Coillte.
Reposing at his home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday(17th July) with rosary at 7 o’clock. In the current circumstances we are requesting those attending his home, please wear a mask and obsersve social distancing guidlines.
George’s funeral mass will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday (18th July) in the Church of Assumption and St. Patrick, Rathangan. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Rathangan.

Peacefully while in the tender care of the wonderful staff in Maynooth Community Care Centre. Predeceased by her husband Michael. Sadly missed by her loving family, Philip, Anne, Rosemarie, Michael and Aisling, grandchildren Barry, Owen, Roisín, Gráinne, Ciara, Aedán, Ciaran, Eoghan, Sinéad, Darragh, Ruairí and Caoimhe, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny on Thursday (16th July) from 6pm to 8pm (for close family and friends). Funeral arriving at St. Lazerian’s Church, Knock on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. (Maximum of 50 people allowed in the Church and social distancing adhered to in the cemetery).

Cronin Frank, Park Upper, Stradbally, Co.Laois. Passed away on 13th July 2020 surrounded by his loving wife & family. Sadly missed & fondly remembered by his devoted wife Freida, daughters Liz & Emma. Sons Paul & Garry, sister Mary, his adored 8 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Angie, sons-in-law Garry & John, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family & a large circle of friends.
Reposing at his home from 4pm on Tuesday (14th Juy) with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (15th July) at 2:30pm in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.
Following current govenment advice regarding public gatherings the funeral will be restricted to 150 people in the church. Frank’s family wish to thank everyone for their understanding at this sad time.
