Dayton (Josie) Nee Condren Boleybeg, Spink, Abbeyleix & formerly of Grange, Maganey, Co. Laois. At Naas General Hospital. Pre-deceased by her husband James and brother John. Josie will be sadly missed by her brothers Brian and William, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny on Thursday (16th July) from 6pm to 8pm (for close family and friends). Funeral arriving at St. Lazerian’s Church, Knock on Friday morning for Requiem Mass at 11am, with burial in the adjoining cemetery. (Maximum of 50 people allowed in the Church and social distancing adhered to in the cemetery).

James (Jim) Fitzpatrick
Knockbawn Spink, Abbeyleix, Laois

Jim died in the loving care of Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Teresa, sons John and James, daughter Carmel, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Removal from his residence on Friday at 1.30 to St. Lazarian’s Church, Knock for Funeral Mass at 2 pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 Directive Social distancing will apply at the Church and Cemetery. The family would like to thank you for your help and understanding at this time.

Kathleen Henderson (née Costigan)
Coolkerry, Rathdowney, Laois

Kathleen Henderson (nee Costigan), Coolkerry, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. July 15th 2020. In the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny. Predeceased by her husband Pat and her son Pat and her brother John. Sadly mourned by her family Philip, Michael, John, Andrew, daughters in law Ann, Breda, Martina, Agnes, grandchildren John-Paul, Gillian, Brian, Catherine, Ann-Marie, Daniel, Adam, Darragh, Aisling and Patrick, great-grandchildren Lorcan and Liam, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Thursday from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral mass on Friday at 11 o’clock in the Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Please adhere to the COVID-19 Directive with regard to social distancing at public gatherings. Funeral mass will be live streamed from The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney on Friday at 11o’clock (parishwebsites/rathdowney).

Frances (Mary) Cullen (née Bolton)
33 St Michael’s Park, Portarlington, Laois

Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband Paddy. Sadly missed by her children John, Rose, Margaret, Paddy, Mary, Michael and Bernadette, sisters Una and Peg, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Removal on Thursday arriving St Michael’s Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery, Portarlington.

Due to the Covid 19 Directive Social Distancing will be in place in the Church and at the Cemetery.

Frank Cronin
Park Upper, Stradbally, Laois

Cronin Frank, Park Upper, Stradbally, Co.Laois. Passed away on 13th July 2020 surrounded by his loving wife & family. Sadly missed & fondly remembered by his devoted wife Freida, daughters Liz & Emma. Sons Paul & Garry, sister Mary, his adored 8 grandchildren, daughter-in-law Angie, sons-in-law Garry & John, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family & a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home from 4pm on Tuesday (14th Juy) with rosary at 8pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday (15th July) at 2:30pm in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

Following current govenment advice regarding public gatherings the funeral will be restricted to 150 people in the church. Frank’s family wish to thank everyone for their understanding at this sad time.

Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to ‘The Irish Cancer Society’.

Formerly The Old Pound, Ballybrittas County Laois. Peacefully.

Reposing at the O’Neill’s residence Kilbracken, Ballybrittas on Tuesday from 4pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Wednesday (travelling via Morette) arriving St Paul’s Church, Emo for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery, Emo.

Due to the Covid 19 Directive there will be Social Distancing in place in the house, in the Church and at the Cemetery.

Peacefully at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Ben, sons Mike, Ber and Pat, daughter Angie, daughters-in-law Mary and Ann Marie, son-in-law Mick, granddaughters Nicola, Alison, Shauna, Michelle, Aoife and Zoe, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arriving St John’s Church, Killenard, Portarlington on Wednesday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St Brigid’s Hospital Shane. Loving son of the late Peter and Bridget Malone and loving brother of the late William, Michael and Mary. Deeply regretted by his loving nephews Joe, Patsy, Peadar, Jimmy, Peter and Garrett, nieces Breda, Mary and Monica, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Monday from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Tuesday arriving St Paul’s Church Emo for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery, Emo.

Due to the Covid 19 Directive Social Distancing will be in place at his residence, in the Church and at the Cemetery.
