Formerly of Cherrygarth & Meelick, Portlaoise, Laois
Peacefully, in the loving care of Bernie Brennan and staff of Bellard Lodge Nursing Home. Bridget (in her 102 year). Predeceased by her husband Martin and son Larry (Oak Park, Carlow). Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Mary and Anne Gleeson, daughter in law Kathleen and son in law Tim, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.
Due to goverment guidelines regarding public gatherings, a family funeral will take place on Monday, with requiem Mass at 12:00 noon in SS Peter & Paul’s church, followed by interment afterwards in SS Peter & Paul’s cemetery.

Karl Kilmartin, Clondalkin, Dublin. July 7th 2020. unexpectedly, predeceased by his mother Marieann. Sadly mourned by his Dad Pat Kilmartin Greenroads, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois and Breda, sister Debbie, brother Jonathan, partner Donna, son Josh, daughter Brooke, brother-in-law Tony, sister-in-law Mairead, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney, Co. Laois on Sunday evening from 3 o’clock to 6 o’clock. Cremation will take place at Newlands Crematorium Dublin, arriving at 2pm on Monday 13th July, for Dublin arrangements please contact the family. As per the COVID-19 restrictions, please observe the current directive as advised by the Government. Karl’s family thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time. Mary McCarthy, late of Knockanina, Mountrath and No. 5. Patrick’s Avenue, Portarlington, Co .Laois. Died 10th July 2020, (peacefully) at home (5 Patrick’s Ave.), surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by loving her sister Briget (Phelan) and her husband Christoper, brother Jimmy (Birmingham, England), nieces Christine, Carmel and Diane, nephews Desmond, Brendan, Martin and Aidan, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath this Friday evening from 7.0’clock with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for Requiem Mass at 10.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Suddenly at the General Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Jim. Deeply regretted by her loving daughters Ann-Marie , Melissa and Siobhan, son James, partners Gary and Aby, grandson Louis, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives and friends .
Reposing in the Church Of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, on Sunday evening from 6pm, with Rosary at 8pm. Social distancing will apply. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery. House private.

Martin, Roderick (Rody), Rose Cottage, Derry Road, Durrow, Co. Laois. Passed away peacefully at home in hia 93rd year on Wednesday 8th July 2020 in the loving care of his family.
Deeply regretted by his sorowing family, daughters Glinis, Sharen, Theresa and Marie, sister Lil, sons in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and a large circle of friends. RIP.
A family requiem Mass will take place on Friday 10th July 2020 at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballacolla. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowes only please.
