Gardai are appealing for information following a robbery at a local alpaca farm.
Gardaí in Mountmellick are investigating a burglary that happened in Hushabye Farm Alpacas, Quarrymount, Killeigh on Wednesday morning between 9am and 10.45am.
A Garda spokesperson said: “A substantial amount of property was stolen.
“These include a Rad Rhino electric bike and trailer while a large amount of garden tools including a ride on lawnmower were also stolen.
“The trailer has the wording Hushabye Farm Alpacas written on it.
“Any information to Portlaoise Garda Station 0578674100 or your local Station.”
Hushabye Farm is set in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom Mountains.
