Portlaoise Gardaí are appealing to the public in relation to a burglary and theft from a farmyard on the Old Road, Kilminchy, Portlaoise which happened in the early hours of Friday morning.
Two Honda 420 Quads and a 7×4 trailor were stolen.

Meanwhile, Laois Roads Policing unit on patrol stopped a driver making an unnecessary journey on the M7 on Friday.
Further enquiries discovered the driver to be disqualified which led to this driver being arrested and having their vehicle seized.
“The driver has been given an essential reason to travel to a court appearance in the coming weeks,” posted Laois-Offaly Gardai on their Facebook page.
