On the first anniversary of our dearly beloved mother Rose’s death, we her family wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us at the time of mam’s death and throughout the past year.
We were greatly comforted by all those who travelled long distances to call to our home, attend the rosary, removal to the church, funeral mass and burial.
To all those who sent mass cards, floral tributes, letters and messages of sympathy, we are truly grateful.
Sincere thanks to our kind neighbours, relatives and friends who supported us in so many ways, provided food and refreshments, assisted with teas and parking and for your continued help and friendship.
Sincere thanks to Dr Montague and staff at Kilnacourt Surgery, Mullaney’s Pharmacy Portarlington and to Public Health Nurses Frances Keeley and Catherine Murphy for all their kindness and support.
Our sincere thanks also to Fr Dooley PP, Fr Hughes CC, Fr Walsh PE (recently deceased) and mam’s nephew Fr John Stapleton, PP Killeigh, for celebrating mam’s funeral mass and making it so personal. Thanks to Sarah Troy for her beautiful music and singing.
Thanks to John Maher Funeral Undertaker for his professional handling of the funeral arrangements and to our kind neighbours and relatives who prepared mam’s final resting place.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation.
