Mary and Margaret Bannon, Errill, Co. Laois, 16th March 2020. It is with great sadness that Donal and Nellie announce the unexpected passing of Mary and Margaret.

A private funeral mass for family and close relatives has been arranged and we ask for your understanding at this profoundly sad time.

Elizabeth Burke (née Kavanagh)
Hillsbrook Avenue, Perrystown, Dublin/Stradbally, Laois

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lily) Burke (nee Kavanagh) in her 94th year, formerly of Hillsbrook Avenue, Perrystown, Dublin 12. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Droimnin Nursing Home, Stradbally. Beloved wife of the late Michael John (Mick). She will be greatly missed by her children Séan, Mick, Anne and Liam, daughter’s Inlaw Mary and Clare, son Inlaw PJ, grandchildren Daniel, Linda, Jennifer, Paula, Heather, Alan, Alex, Adam and Lesley, great-grandchildren Croi, Lincoln, Ella, Ava, Solas, Noah, Ezra and Finn, sisters Katie and Mae, sister Inlaw Eileen, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to the current guidelines regarding public gathering, a private funeral will take place.

Sheila Gannon (née Quinne)
Bealady, Rathdowney, Laois

Gannon (nee Quinne), Bealady, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, 17th March 2020. Peacefully, at Patterson’s Nursing Home, Roscrea. Sheila, predeceased by her husband Fonsy and her son Peter. Sadly mourned by her family James, Tom, Alfi, his partner Claire and Linda, daughter-in-law Trish, son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Dan, Anna, Leah, Conor, Laura. Aidan and Robert, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 2pm in The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney.

Funeral Mass will be streamed, due to the COVID-19 Directive, the funeral will be for family and close relatives only.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan and his family P.J., Rory and Margaret, Daughters-in-law Catherine and Joanne, grandchildren Padraig and Ciarán, Sinead and Saoirse, Kustine, Christopher, Kiera, his sister Irene, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will be streamed from The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney on Wednesday at 2pm followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. House strictly private as per COVID-19 Directive. Donations to Friends of Portlaoise Hospital. (friendsofportlaoisehospital.weebly.com)

Ann Marie Bowden (nee Moyles), Village View, Errill, Co. Laois, March 15th 2020. Peacefully, at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her son Jason and daughter Adeline. Loving wife of Nicholas, beloved mother of Geraldine, son-in-law Mark, Sinead and Ann. Loving grandmother of Rebecca, Jason, Katelyn, Conor, Ellie, Emma, Luke, Kiera, great-grandmother to Lukas, step mother to Ann and Michael, relatives, neighbours and friends and extended family.

Reposing at her home, Village View, Errill, Eircode R32 F2C7, on Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 11am in The Church of Our Lady, Queen of the Universe, Errill, followed by burial in Bealady. Family flowers only, by request. Donations to Coronary Care Unit St. James’s Hospital, Dublin.
