There’s a new club in town – and it’ll be officially opened this Saturday, February 29.
Mustangs, which is in O’Loughlin’s Hotel, is holding its Grand Opening this Saturday under new owners John and Sally McDonald.
Doors opening at 11pm, there are lots of special guests, the best DJs in town, drinks promotions and entertainment from Jason Nolan, Wayne Dillon and friends.
The night also has a fund-raising element with money raised going towards Laois Ladies football.
Limited tickets are available at the reception of the hotel and entrance to the club is through the hotel’s front door.
O’Loughlin’s Hotel on Portlaoise’s Main Street was bought by John and Sally McDonald last year from the O’Loughlin family.
John and Sally also own the hugely popular Field Bar in Kilkenny.
John, a former Kilkenny player and All Ireland medal winner, recently agreed a sponsorship deal with the Laois LGFA and talks are ongoing regarding a deal with the Laois hurlers and his fellow county man Eddie Brennan.
