It is the season of Dinner Dances and we decided to take a look back to the Mountmellick GAA dinner dance this time 17 years ago.
This one should give a few a good laugh, many of whom were in their adolescent days back then.
A few familiar faces are among some of these photos taken by Alf Harvey that year.
Last year semi-finals were the stumbling block for Mountmellick as both their intermediate hurlers and footballers were eliminated in the last four of their respective competitions.
Dinner dancers are being held around the county at the minute as clubs prepare for the start of the 2020 season in the coming weeks.
So we felt it was appropriate to have a throw back.
No doubt you’ll recognize some of the faces – even if they are looking a bit older!
