Opening a new business is a hugely exciting time, a feeling that Portlaoise hairdresser, Paula Flanagan, is experiencing every minute of at the moment.
Paula has worked in Bankz Hair and Beauty in Portlaoise for the last number of years and now, she has stepped out on her own and opened the doors of her new salon.
Studio26 opened its doors on Main Street, Portlaoise this morning and already there are many happy clients.
Trained by Bankz Hair and Beauty, salon owner Paula is well known for her flair for hair and is an Irish Hair Federation award winner.
She was the Irish Hair Federation Cut and Colour winner in 2018 and also part of the Irish Hair Federation ‘Star Team’ in 2017.
Paula has eight years of experience and is Studio26’s senior stylist, an Alphaparf, Olaplex and ColourWow salon. She is also Platinum extension trained and is excited for her new venture.
She said: “It’s really exciting. I’m looking forward to the journey and to welcoming new clients.
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and it’s nice to see it all coming together and opening up today.
“I’m excited for all that’s to come and having a business of my own doing what I love.”
After just turning 26, Paula opened Studio26 beside partner, Kieran Lillis’ business, Lilly’s Bar, who has been a great help to her in her new beginnings as a business owner.
Studio 26 is open Tuesday 9am-6pm, Wednesday 9am-8pm, Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-5pm.
