Lanham (nee Gaffney) Marian Ave., Portlaoise. January 20th 2020 Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff of Ballard Lodge Nursing Home. In her 94th year. Maura beloved wife of the late Jim. Predeceased by her daughters Jennifer and Linda. Dearly loved mother to Teresa O’Reilly and Gillian Haslam. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Rest in peace
Reposing at her residence from 2 pm on Tuesday with rosary at 8 pm. Again on Wednesday reposing from 2 pm, with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 10 am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Mary Christina (Nuala) Marnell (nee Brennan), Gash, Castletown, Portlaoise and late of the Hazelpit, Castletown, Co. Laois, January 18th 2020. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of the staff of St. Brigid’s Hospital, Shane, Portlaoise. Predeceased by her husband Eddie, daughter Margaret, sister Jean, brothers John and Eddie. Deeply regretted by her loving son Tom, daughters Carol (Dowling), Susan and Patricia (O’Donnell), her seven grandchildren, sons in law John and Anthony, daughter in law Nuala, sisters in law Cathleen (Dowling) and Valerie (Brennan) brother in law Charlie Corr, niece, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home, Castletown, Mountrath (EirCode R32 TN84) this Tuesday evening (Jan. 21st.) from 4 o’c (Family will be present) with prayers at 7 o’c. Removal on Wednesday morning (Jan. 22nd.) at 10.50 o’c to St. Edmund’s Church, Castletown (EirCode R32 KT22) for Funeral Mass at 11 o’c followed by cremation at Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare (Eircode V14 PV30) arriving 2.00 pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Residents Social Fund Shaen Hospital Portlaoise. (Donation box at Funeral Home & Church).

Cherished grandfather to his ten grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters Pam O Sioráin, Elma Corcoran and Eileen Way, sons in law Simon, David and Andrew, daughter in law Jacinta, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegans funeral home from 5pm on Sunday evening with rosary at 6pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon in St Kieran’s Church, Johnstown, on Monday morning, followed by interment in Johnstown Cemetery.
