The Templemore Arms was the place to be on Saturday night as Rathdowney-Errill celebrated a stellar 2019 in style.
Medals were presented to the Senior, Intermediate and U-20 hurlers.
Rathdowney-Errill were crowned Laois SHC champions for the sixth time in their short history in O’Moore Park on October 20. They defeated Borris-Kilcotton 0-17 to 1-9.
The Intermediates won the Laois Shopping Centre ACHL Division 1 ‘A’ Final on July 27 in Mountrath after getting the better of Clough-Ballacolla by 0-19 to 0-14.
The U-20 hurlers won the U-20 ‘A’ Shield Final in Errill on 23rd November. They ran out 1-12 to 1-10 winners of Borris-Kilcotton.
There was also special honours on the night for the club members who were involved in with Laois this year.
Players Paddy Purcell, Mark Kavanagh, Jack Kelly, Eric Killeen and Ross King, along with kit man Pat Delaney and physio Mags O’Shea were presented with framed photos of the Joe McDonagh win.
Alf Harvey was there on the night and he captured some great photos.
