And what better way to beat off the Christmas and St Stephen’s Day hangover with one.
Arles-Kilcruise GAA club are hosting a fundraising table quiz on Sunday December 29.
O’Kelly’s Bar in Ballickmoyler will be the venue and the action will get underway from 9pm.
A table of four costs €40 and PRO Ross Munnelly says that a great night is in store.
He said: “The Christmas period can be extremely hectic so this quiz night will be a bit of fun.
“We can guarantee a great night of entertainment for anyone who comes along.
“Don’t worry if you don’t have enough for a table of four, everyone who wants to take part will be accommodated.
“We look forward to seeing a big crowd taking part. We also look forward to 2020 and wish all teams in Laois good luck in the new year.”
