It’s one of the most successful fundraisers of its kind – and the annual Clonaslee Sliabh Bloom sponsored walk will take place again this St Stephen’s Day in the picturesque Laois village.
This is the 27th Annual walk which grows in popularity each year from humble beginnings of only 14 people from Clonaslee walking to the booster station on Ridge of Capard and donating £216 to Laois Hospice, the organisers now see 800 -1000 people walking on St. Stephen’s Day, donating well over €30,000 each year.
This year they are hoping to exceed an incredible €1 million in total donations to Laois Hospice
