The Mahers are hoping to book their place in the Ireland’s Fittest Family final as they take to our screens tonight.
So far, the Killeshin family have put up a great fight to get to the semi-final.
They secured their place in the semi-final after a grueling challenge in the quarter final which saw Fionn and Nicholas take on the Hell and Back course, through a bog and then swim to a raft.
It was then on to Devil’s Creek for a time-trial where Nicholas, Fionn, Cara and Maeve were thrust into action.
They’d to walk over balance beams, swing over monkey bars, climb a cargo net, wade through a swamp and then carry a log for 500 metres – all against the clock.
The two families with the slowest times had to face the eliminator against the Mandiangus from Dublin.

The Laois representatives took the win to advance to the next round and they’ll be hoping to do the same tonight.
