The Laois Arch club has been nominated for the prestigious Permanent TSB community fund.
The club, who support and help people with intellectual disabilities, are up for a prize of €20,000 but they need your help.
The Permanent TSB Community Fund supports local communities by providing funding to community organisations that are having a positive and meaningful impact on the ground which they are working hard to make a difference.
They allocate €100,000 throughout the country which they split into 5 different regions.
This means that if the Laois Arch wins they will be allocated €20,000 to help develop themselves and improve what they do even further.
The Laois Arch Club is an organisation who help those with intellectual disabilities and aim to provide a positive, supportive, friendly, secure social environment for people with intellectual disabilities.
They help these people socialise, form friendships and, above all, have fun with their peers and with Arch Club volunteers.
This is fantastic organisation and are fully deserving of the nomination.
