Relatives, neighbours and good friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at her residence from 2 pm on Tuesday with rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Wed morning to arrive at The Church of the Holy Cross Ratheniska for 12 noon requiem Mass. Followed by interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John Dempsey of Croydon, London and formerly of Portlaoise, Co. Laois, passed away suddenly, on November 24th, 2019.
Beloved son of Danny and Bridie, cherished brother of Donal, much loved brother-in-law of Cathryn and adored uncle of Cillian and Darragh. He will be sadly missed by his extended family, relatives and friends.

Deeply regretted by his loving partner Stephanie and children Aaron, Lily and Sophie, parents Billy and Anna Mai, brother Liam and sister-in-law Lorraine, aunts, uncles, niece Cédhla and nephew Ciarán, and Stephanie’s parents Eddie and Ann Foot, the Foot family, cousins, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Mary, his angel infant son and daughter, his brothers Mick-Joe and Eddie and his sister Frances. Sadly mourned by his adoring family, Patrick, Anne-Marie (Moore) and Geraldine, his grandsons Michael and Seán, his granddaughter Mary-Kate, his son-in-law Michael, his brother Loughlin (Lot), his sister May (Whyte) and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Oakdale Nursing Home(R32 P025) this Sunday evening with rosary at 8pm and reposing at his home (Johnstown Glebe) tomorrow, Monday evening, from 5pm with rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning in the Church Of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney at 11am followed by burial in Rathdowney Local Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning please.
