Camross Community held a very successful fashion show recently in aid of Parish/Field development.
A cheese and wine reception was also sponsored by Dunnes Stores.
Participating shops in the event included Dunnes Stores Mens and Ladies Fashions, Kyle Centre Portlaoise, who also provided the stage set.
Lily and Rose, Main St Portlaoise, Alison Roe Millinery, Elverys Sports Portlaoise, Shaws Fashions Portlaoise – Mens and Ladies and Jazz Alley also participated in the show.
The Roscrea Musical Interlude was by Martin Delaney as well as
visiting celebrity friends, Máire Higgins accompanied by Eric and joined by Donald Trump.
The compere on the night was Marquerite Sheeran who gave jovial presentation and a strong plug for all the fashion houses such as local success stories – Alison Roe Millinery, Ballaghmore and Jazz Alley Roscrea, Proprietor Catherine Sheeran, Coolrain.
The Parish would like to thank the models who took part and Marguerite Sheeran and Sadie McCartney organiser and her team for the tremendous work they put in in ensuring that this venture was a great success financially and socially.
