The Barrowhouse GAA club continued their centenary celebrations on Saturday night when they gathered in the Seven Oaks Hotel for a dinner dance to mark the 100th anniversary of the clubs establishment.
The small club just outside Athy also launched a book that documents their history.
The well-attended Dinner Dance is the latest event to mark the significance of this year – only last month they welcomed GAA president John Horan to their club grounds.
Club members of all ages attended an event that celebrated what the club has achieved and contributed to its community over the years.
Laois GAA Chairman Peter O’Neill was among the special guests and as well as a nod to the past, the club also recognised the present.
TJ Burke was honoured as the club’s young player of the year while Brian ‘Bugsy’ Malone was senior player of the year.
Mike Brennan and Liam Langton received special recognition awards for their contribution.
