Castletown Community Sports Field development are holding an Auction on Sunday the 29th September at 2pm in Castletown Community centre.
This is been done to raise funds to re-surface the floodlight walking track that is used by all the local community and surrounding areas and is used all year round.
Committee member Declan Donovan is hoping members of the community get behind them.
He said: “We are trying to get this surface down before winter hits to make it more comfortable during the winter months.
“We are accepting donations of all resalable items and will have a book stall and bric a brack stall on the day also.
“Items can be dropped to the community centre on Friday night between 7-8pm and on Saturday from 1–3pm.
“Alternatively, if you require items to be collected we can be contacted on the phone number and e-mail address on attached letter or by contacting any committee member.”
