Hughes (nee McEnanay) OakLawn, Portlaoise and late of Shercock, Co. Cavan, 19th September. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Anne, beloved wife of William and dearly loved mum to Karen, Jane, Annette and Niall. Cherished grandmother to her ten grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters in law, sons in law, Simon, David and Andrew. daughter in law Jacinta, nephews, nieces, relative and friends.
Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home from 6 pm on Wednesday evening with rosary at 8 pm. Requiem Mass at 10 am on Thursday morning in SS Peter and Paul’s church, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul’s cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to The Oncology Unit St James’ Hospital.
James Joseph (Jimmy) Hennessy
Maclone, Rosenallis, Laois
James Joseph (better known as Jimmy) Hennessy, Maclone, Rosenallis, Co. Laois and formerly of Nottingham, U.K. died 21st September 2019 peacefully at home in the company of his family. Predeceased by his son James. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rosemary and sons Justin and partner Barbara, Anthony and wife Nathalie, grandchildren, Jack, Kane, Owen, Connor, Oliver, Chloe and Jada-Rose, sisteres Sheila, Bernadette and Elizabeth, brothers-in-law Jim, John, Martin and Jim, nieces and nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Thomas (Better known as Noel) Delaney, Derryguile, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, died 20th September 2019, peacefully at Naas General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Alice and family, Kathleen, Larry, Mary, John, Tom and Alice, grandchildren, sons-in-law James, Paul and Michael, daughters-in-law Cathy, Elaine and Leona, sisters-in-law May and Mina, nieces and nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Noel will repose in the home of John and Elaine in Derryguile (Eircode R32R860) on Saturday from 3pm and on Sunday from 3pm.
Recital of the Rosary at 8pm on Sunday evening. Funeral arriving for 11am Requiem Mass on Monday in St. Joseph’s Church, Mountmellick. Burial after in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. House private on Monday morning please. Family flowers only.

Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home, Durrow from 6.00pm on Friday evening with Rosary at 8.00pm. Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill on Saturday morning for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
Philomena (Ena) Gaffney (née Mullins)
Late of Main Street, Portarlington, Laois
Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St Vincent’s Hospital Mountmellick. Loving wife of the late Edward Gaffney. Deeply regretted by her loving son Brendan, daughter Nuala, brother, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington on Friday from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Saturday at 10:20am arriving St Michael’s Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to St Michael’s Cemetery Portarlington.
