The hurling really cranked up a few notches at the weekend with ten games taking place.
We had four county finals down for decision on Saturday and Camross won three of them.
They claimed a remarkable camogie success by winning both the Junior and Intermediate titles on Saturday.
And not content with two trophies, they went on to win the Intermediate hurling title in O’Moore Park later that evening.
The Camross club were involved in four games in total and they began the weekend by booking their place in the senior semi final against old rivals Castletown.
Saturday also saw history made as Park-Ratheniska-Timahoe won their first ever title at adult level since their amalgamation in 2018.
We also had the two Senior A quarter finals, remaining Senior quarter final and two relegation finals in Senior and Senior A to contend with.
Alan Hartnett and Steven Miller are back once again and they are joined by a brand new guest – Mountrath native Michael ‘Beag’ Boyhan.
Coach supremo, who has been involved with more clubs that Tiger Woods, Boyhan was on the line with Camross for their double camogie success at the weekend.
From First Dates to the sideline, Michael is well known around the county and his insights are a valuable addition.
