In Daft.ie’s recent analysis of trends in the Irish rental market, it was found that rent in Laois has risen 8.5% since last year.
The property website found that the average monthly rental price in Laois is €963.
The average monthly rent for a 1 bed apartment is €685 this year, up 7.9% on last year.
Rent for a 2 bed house is €798 per month, a rise of 8.4%.
3 bed house rent has risen to 7.3% in 2019 and is now at €924.
€1,018 is the average monthly rent for a 4 bed house in Laois, up 7.3% on last year.
5 bed house monthly rent is €1,075 which is an increase of 3.3%.
As well as monthly rent, Daft.ie included a study of the yield in their report, which is the ratio of annual rents to the price of the property.
The yield of a 1 bed apartment in Laois is 11.1%, an increase of 0.4%.
2 bed house yields have increased by 0.6% to 9.9%, while the average 3 bed house yield has risen by 0.7% 8.6%.
4 bed house yields are at 4.8% in Laois, which has not changed.
the yield for 5 bed houses has dropped by -0.3% to 4.6%.
In a summary of Laois rent, Daft.ie reported that the average monthly rent in Laois is €963, while qtr-on-qtr change is 3.1%.
The year-on-year change in Laois is 8.5% while the change from trough is 91.2%.
