In its 11th year, the event started and finished at The Final Furlong in Ballybrittas for the first time.

Over the last ten years the popular event has raised over €100,000 for various cancer charities.

This year an amazing €26,510 was raised for Laois Hospice.

The Fisherstown Tractor and Truck Run Committee would like to thank the O’Halloran family for the use of The Final Furlong Pub.

The committee would also like to thank Mary Delaney and Irene Murray in Laois Hospice for their help and support, as well as local land owners, sponsors, tractor and truck owners and ticket and sponsorship card buyers.

Lastly they would like to extend their thanks to businesses who donated prizes for the raffle, An Garda Siochana for traffic management, and the people who provided entertainment on the day.
