Parents and those affected by the loss of baby are invited to attend a family day taking place in Portlaoise this weekend.
‘Together is Better’ is a group for parents who are dealing with issues like miscarriages, postnatal depression, stillbirth, and children who have had extended neonatal care.
Portlaoise Parish Centre will hold the event on Saturday July 27 from 10am to 2pm.
Events on the day include a children’s market, cake sale and raffle.
The group are hoping to raise funds are for Féileacéin.
Féileacéin is a still birth and neonatal death association, while also raising money for the neonatal department in Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
