The death has occurred of Frank Langford, the well-known and hugely popular taxi driver from Emo.
Mr Langford passed away on Friday after a short illness. As well as driving a taxi and bus over the years, he also had a very busy wedding car business, Langfords Limos and Wedding Cars.
Through the taxi business, the buses, the wedding cars, the school bus runs and trips to matches he’d have transported thousands of passengers to a wide range of events over the years.
Frank is regretted by his loving wife Marie (née Greene) and his family and their spouses and partners Mark and Rachel, Helen, Michelle and Niall Treacy, Francis and Regina, Jason and Sara, and Ronan.
He is also survived by his mother Mary, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Frank iseposing in his home in Morette, Emo, on Saturday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8.30pm.
He is reposing on Sunday from 3pm with Recital of The Rosary at 8pm.
Funeral arriving for 12 noon Requiem Mass on Monday to St Paul’s Church Emo.
Burial afterwards in The New Cemetery, Emo. House Private on Monday morning, please.
